Upgrade Certification

Download the Peer Specialist Experience Verification Form and complete it with your supervisor. When you are finished, upload it to the database.

The requirements to upgrade are as follows:

15 credits from at least five electives from the APS website (they cannot be outside credits);
The Peer Specialist Experience Verification Form filled out and signed in its entirety, and;
One letter of reference from the supervisor who signed the Peer Specialist Experience Verification Form.
If already provisionally certified, certification must be compliant in order to upgrade.
If you are applying for standard certification for the first time, all provisional requirements must be met plus the additional requirements for the standard certification.
