Call for Presenters – NYPSCB 2025 Annual Conference: “RECHARGED”

The New York Peer Specialist Certification Board (NYPSCB) is now accepting workshop proposals for our 2025 Annual Conference, taking place October 15–16 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy, NY. This year’s theme, RECHARGED, invites us to renew our energy, reflect on our practice, and reinvigorate the peer support movement.

We’re seeking 90-minute workshops that are engaging, practical, and aligned with our mission to strengthen the peer workforce. Topics may include burnout, loneliness, DEI, peer leadership, innovation, and more. All presenters must attend both days of the conference and participate in planning calls.

Important Workshop/Presentation Application Information:

  • Presenters act as volunteers and will not be compensated for their time.
  • All presenters are responsible for their own transportation and accommodations.
  • Only the lead presenter in a workshop will be offered a discounted registration for the conference.
  • All presenters are expected to attend both days.
  • Please submit only one (1) workshop application organization/person agency
  • All presenters are required to participate in a 30min planning call in August and September
  • Presenters are prohibited from using the workshop as a sales platform to promote their business or product.
  • We reserve the discretion to edit or modify workshop descriptions and bio to meet publication requirements.
  • By submitting your presentation, you are consenting to having screen shots/video taken during your workshop for use up to one year for future conference marketing and informational materials with no expected compensation.
  • Presenters agree to promote the event within their company, city, region and within associated membership organizations and affinity groups.
  •  Presenters should upload your resume/cv for CEU purposes.
